Tuesday, August 28

This past weekend, we gave her 'regular' (wheat) pasta to eat. She seemed to do pretty well with it... She did not have an immediate reaction... However she did seem a little more itchier later on.

She did scratch up her fingers (bleeding, ripped skin) over the next couple of days (sun-mon) and last night, she had a slight rash on her front and back neck areas and her eyes, forehead, and lips were red and a little swollen. She also had a slight rash behind her knee pits.

Not sure if this swelling of eyes and lips and rash is due to some reaction last night or from the pasta she ate on sat and sun night.

She also had watermelon last night.

We had her blood tested for the allergy panel last week and hopefully the results will be better this time.... When we tested her blood 2 years ago, she was allergic to everything! (wheat, soy, milk, eggs, fish, chicken, beef, pork, nuts, etc)

We're hoping for good readings for wheat, soy, and the meats...

Thursday, August 16th

Went to Legoland all day yesterday and had a blast. Weather was hot. She did very well during the day but during dinner at Sammys she had an allergic reaction to something. Eyes became very swollen and she started to wheeze a little bit. Eyes were very itchy...
Got a little soaked at the pirates place...

came home, took a bath and she seemed to feel a little better... started to play again.

Gave her Z, put on L2

Her skin has some scratch marks on arms and back... believe this is due to chlorine exposure at pool and at legoland.... limited amount of contact put enough to irritate her skin

Sunday, August 5th

On Friday, CM didn't have L1 or L2 or Z. Her skin was good.

Saturday:
We went to Soup Plantation for dinner last night and we allowed CM to eat the food there.

She had the pasta (plain), baked potato, cucumber, salad, carrots, and beats. This was probably one of her biggest meals that she's eaten.

Before bed, we noticed that she was a little red on her forehead, had a little rash on her shoulders and back of her neck. She also had a red spot by her left wrist.

But, she didn't seem to be itchy and she fell asleep pretty fast.

We put L1 and L2 on the rashy areas

No Z.

Sunday:

We went to church this morning and CM was all over the pew and floor and afterwards, she looked a little red.

We went to picture people in the afternoon and took pics. She was a little red and afterwards, she had a rash on her stomach area and shoulders.

She slept about 3 hours in the afternoon and after her bath, her skin looked good and her rash seemed to have gone away.

L1 and L2, no Z on sunday

Thursday, August 2

CM's skin has been really good all week but she's been waking up a little itchy during the past 3 days.

At the beginning of the week, she had a rash at the back of her neck (sun, mon) but that went away fairly quickly. Yesterday, she had a rash on her butt area... one large red spot... the rest of her body was really clear.

On Monday, she ate Lychees

On Tuesday she went into the pool (only got her feet wet)

On Wednesday, grandma cooked eggs and she seemed to be very itchy when sitting at the dinner table next to the eggs.

We've been putting L1 and L2 daily since the weekend.

L1 on her calves, feet, and fingers, and rash areas (neck, butt)

L2 ... same as L1 and also on neck and forehead.

She had Z last sat, sun, and monday. No Z on tues and wed

Overall, her skin has been great... we are going to try and give her more food to eat

July 30th, Monday

This past weekend we went to Legoland and the beach. At Legoland, CM played a little bit at the new Pirates water play area. At the beach, she played in the water up to waist high.

She also ate "real" pasta. She had no immediate reaction and was fine all day on Sunday.

Today, grandma gave her some leechees (imported from China).

Overall, last week her skin was dry and we started her back on L1 and L2. Her legs (shin area) was becoming scaly. After 3 days of L1 and L2, her legs are much better now.

As of today, her skin has been really clear except for a slight rash on the back of her neck area. She also took Z before bed the last couple of nights but not tonight.

Day 46, Wednesday

It's been 2 weeks since I last posted.

CM spent the last week and a half at her Grandma's house. She was there from Friday, June 30th thru Sunday, July 8th.

She did really well there. She slept through the night almost every night and her skin was good for most of the week. We gave Grandma our laundry soap, dishwash soap, and her soap to use.

Toward the end of the week, CM started to become more itchy. She has a light rash around her neck and shoulder area on Saturday July 7th. Then on July 8th, she had a rash on the back of her neck area. Also, her legs were becoming a little more rashy and she was also getting red blotches on her butt area.

We started to put L1 and L2 again whereas before we were transitioning her off of L1 and only using L2.

Theories of her breakout:
Food she ate: Leechees, watermelon, white mooer soup, bananna, her allergy free cookies
Food smells she was exposed to: Fish and eggs
Clothing: her clothes were washed in the washer and drier that came into contact with detergent

Overall, her skin is still relatively good. Last night I put on L1 and L2 and this is helping to heal her eczema.

She was itchy on her lower back and she scratched it up a bit.

She fell asleep fast last night w/o Z and no fussing... she's still sleeping now.

She is now capable of sleeping through the night.

We need to figure out her food allergies and keep her skin clear and soft.
